Terms & Conditions

1. Registration and Payment
- A completed registration form must be submitted before your first class.
- New pupils may attend a trial lesson. After the trial class, you must either enroll and pay for the term or inform us if you choose not to continue. No charge will be made if you decide not to continue at this point.
2. Payment Methods and Termination Policy
- Payment can be made by setting up automatic payments through class manager, cash or bank transfer, as specified in your termly invoice. Payments are made on the 1st of each month, which covers the month.
- If fees are not paid within 7 days of the due date, a late fee will be added on automatically by our class manager system.
- One Month's notice is required if you wish to terminate lessons, fees must be paid for the month.
3. Schedule and Venue Changes
- Class days, times, venues, and prices may change with or without prior notice based on business demands.
- In the event of class cancellations, we will make efforts to notify you promptly and offer alternative classes.
4. Refunds and Make-Up Classes
- Refunds are not provided for students missing class due to illness, injury, school trips, or holidays.
- Replacement classes will be offered for cancelled classes due to staff sickness, bad weather or any other circumstance beyond our control. No refunds or Credit will be given.
5. Uniform and Dress Code
- Students are expected to purchase the correct uniform within a few weeks of starting lessons.
- Uniform must be bought from Abi Gibbs Academy to ensure correct items, sizes, and shades.
- Shoes are purchased from 'Footlights' you will receive a discount as a student at AGA.
- All hair should be appropriately tied back, and no jewellery or watches are allowed in class.
6. Parental Supervision and Responsibilities
- Abi Gibbs Academy is only responsible for students during their class time and cannot supervise them outside the studio.
- Younger children needing the toilet during class will be escorted by a teaching assistant.
7. Consent and Safety
- Consent is assumed for 'hands-on' correction in lessons by signing your child up to AGA.
8. Inherent Risks and First Aid
- Dance and Aerial Skills involve inherent risks as do all physical activities, and attendees accept all associated risks and hazards.
- First aid will be administered in emergencies, and parents will be contacted if necessary.
9. Photography and Privacy
- Photographs and videos may be taken for publicity purposes unless parents/guardians inform the principal otherwise in the sign up form.
10. Confidentiality and Complaints
- Personal details are treated as confidential and shared only within the school or with appropriate persons.

11. Acceptance and Updates
- Your payment and your child's attendance act as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
- Please regularly check the terms and conditions on the website as they may alter from time to time.
